What is Nutritional Therapy?
“It is more interesting to know the person that has the disease than to know the disease the person has” - Hippocrates
Our bodies are made up of a number of different systems - including the body’s own immune system - that all work together to keep us healthy.
Each system interacts and talks to another - for example your nervous system talks to your digestive system - the body works as one whole unit. When we experience different illness symptoms this is our body communicating that something is out of balance - and often there are nutritional imbalances that need correcting.
About Julie
I studied Nutritional Therapy at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London including 200 hours of clinical experience and I am a registered Nutritional Therapist with BANT (British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy) and CNHC (Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council).
I’m lucky enough to grow my own vegetables organically at an allotment. For me knowing where your food comes from and giving your body the nutrients it needs is essential for good health.
I hope I can work together with you to help improve your health to bring a better quality of life through the amazing power of food as medicine!
“Our bodies have an innate ability to self heal. Nutritional therapy works with the body’s own immune system to help correct imbalances and bring about good health”
